If a game didn't have controller support, I couldn't play it. Seven years ago, I was in a situation where I had no choice BUT to use a controller a medical issue left me temporarily unable to use the middle finger of my left hand, so WASD was impossible for me. Not to mentions that sometimes, using a controller is necessary. With some games, I prefer to use a controller, but not with other games. The graphics were horrible, but we still played them, because they were fun.Ĭontrollers are a similar thing for me.
As an old millenial, I cut my gaming teeth on NES games and Apple II games. Graphics can be part of that formula, but they're not the sole factor. A game doesn't need to have great graphics to be fun, as fun is a combination of factors, up to and including personal preference. Originally posted by Valden21:I agree with both of you on this. After 2 or three years, no one talks about awesome pretty games if the game sux. Your point, and what young sun whippersnapper fails to understand is that grawfix quality really only matters when the game comes out.
